Vintage Shinsegumi Mini Sword Model Kits from Japan

These 3 mini sword kits are replicas of the Sowards used by the Shinsengumi. They were a famous group of samurai that defended the government in the 1860s. The swords were all made by different makers and used by the most famous in the group. The leaders in this set...Isami Kondo, Toshiba Hijikata and Heisuke Todo and their swords were Kotetsu, Kanesada and Kaneshiga. Each sword is about 6" long and there is a minor amount of assembly needed. Included is the sword, the saya (scabbard), holder for the sword and a plaque with the names on them. Bought in Japan in 2004, they are new...never assembled or played with. Original packaging. The boxes were opened just to examine the contents.
