Vintage Shell Snuff Box

Vintage shell snuff box. Roughly 3 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches. Beautiful and unique vintage shell snuff box. It's made from an intact shell with a hole cut at the top for a lid. Around the cut hole is a metal ring with a latch, which connects to a hinged lid made from the cut out piece secured to the top side of the hinge. There is also a small handle over the latch. You can see some spots where the metal hinge pieces attach to the shell. Lovely unique gift!
