These are a vintage set of six Hippo buttons . I bought them in 1980's at Jessies Button Box in Bath, England. A charming button shop that was worth the trip. Vintage, unused still on original button card. Shank back, looks like it is part of original mold. Approx 1/2" wide nose to tail Approx 1/4" High (see photos) Set of 6. They are molded of some kind of resin/plastic.
