serengeti drivers 5252F corning optics sunglasses
Vintage Serengeti 5252 Vermilion sunglasses from the Serengeti Drivers series feature a sleek black racing frame in a size and shape reminiscent of vintage Alpina M1 sunglasses coupled with top of the line Corning Optics Vermilion double gradient mirror lenses. These highly reflective lenses use a gradient density mirrored coating on the front of the lens to complement the anti-glare properties the rose colored anti-reflective coating on the back of the lens provides. The result is a high performance glass lens that also looks great, especially in these rare orange 5252 Drivers. The unisex Serengeti 5252 Drivers frame measures approximately 5.875" temple to temple, and the double gradient mirror Corning glass Vermilion lenses measure approximately 2.5" x 2.0" at the widest points. You'll find the Serengeti logo embossed across the top portion of the nose bridge in a distinctive, racing inspired design as well as on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is marked Serengeti Drivers 5252 while the inside of the other stem is marked Corning Optics and one ear pad is marked Frame Japan. Rare.
Drivers Gradient: Drivers Gradient was invented not only for drivers but also for pilots and captains. If you struggle with contrast sensitivity, this is the lens for you. Ideal for: very bright light conditions, driving and everyday use.

I’m interested but need to figure out if these would fit me. Can you measure across the front of the eyepieces from the hinge to the edge of the bridge?
