Vintage Seiko classic tank style dress watch with lizard embossed leather strap. Watch features a gold-tone tank style case and white dial with Roman numeral hour markers. The movement and serial number combination indicate watch was made in February 78, 99, 98, 08 or 18, but based on case design and other markings, I would say it is either 78 or 88. The dial is marked, "Seiko Quartz" and "Japan, 47 0229 R" at the bottom edge. The case back is marked, "Base Metal Top, St. Steel Back, 4700-5099, 820108." The watch case measures approx. 20.6mm across excluding the crown by approx. 28.8mm from lug-to-lug. The total length of the watch with leather strap is approx. 8 3/4" (maximum wrist size of approx. 7"). Watch is in fair vintage condition with some scratches on the crystal (have been partially polished out, but still visible) and scuffs / scratches to the case.
