Vintage Screwback Round Large Pair Earrings Sterling Silver 925

This listing is for a beautiful pair of vintage screw back earrings. Please make sure you review every photo, understand the description, and acknowledge the imperfections before purchasing. Type: Screwback earrings. Size: Roughly 1/3-1/2 inch diameter. Weight: 6.98 grams listed on the original receipt. Precious Metal: Stamped 925 Silver, but it's definitely not solid silver. You can tell by the back side and the little chip on one of the edges that the silver was probably dipped or melted onto the round shape. It is not plated because plating is a microscopic layer, whereas the outer layer is about as thick as foil. The screwbacks are probably brass or something similar. Other: I did not test this metal because I don't have the resources. I listed the precious metal based on the declaration stamped on the back of the earrings. IMPERFECTIONS 1) See photos of chip (1 millimeter) on one earring's edge and imperfect craftsmanship on the back. 2) One of the screws does not twist in as tightly as the other, but I have thin ear lobes, and I've worn these out without them ever falling off. Condition is "Pre-owned".
