Sawanotsuru is one of Japan’s largest producers of sake and has been producing sake for over 300 years. The sake brewery started in 1717 in Saigo, Nada as a side business of a rice shop.
I cannot tell you the age of the sake flask as I could find nothing online like it. However, I believe it is vintage by the “MADE IN JAPAN” on the bottom of the flask—it is just like that of a vintage sake flask I saw online. There is a little crazing as seen in the second photo. If you know something about the flask, I’d love to know!
