Vintage Sasson High Rise Tapered Leg Jeans 27” Waist Tapered Leg Six Pockets 11 Vintage these were my go to jeans in the late 1970’s early 1980’s. I loved these jeans because I had a small waist and a curvy figure. Back in the late 1970s if I found a pair of jeans to fit my hips it was always way too big in the waist, not these jeans. These jeans feature six pockets. The two pockets in the front have a smaller pocket inside the larger one and there are also two back pockets. These 100% cotton jeans are very comfortable with room in the hips and thighs. These jeans are size 11. Please check the measurements to make sure they will fit. The waist measures approximately 13 1/2 inches from seam to seam or 27 inches in diameter. The hips approximately 22 inches from seam to seam or 44 inches in diameter. Sasson Jeans was a designer jeans company founded in 1976 with locations in Paris and New York. These jeans have the original logo "New York Sasson Paris" logo. Sasson Jeans was known for its designer denim and for pioneering acid and stoned washed jeans. The brand recently relaunched with a new collection in collaboration with Johnny Was called JW X Sasson. These jeans are in good used condition with fading and some wear around the front zipper, buttocks, and hem consistent with their age (see photos for more details).
