Vintage Sarah Coventry Touch of Elegance Brooch and Earring Set

Stunning condition 3 Piece Set including a Large Signed Modernist Brooch and Dangling Clip Earrings designed by DeLizza and Elster for Sarah Coventry, a book piece called "Touch of Elegance." The brooch has 3 Peridot Green Oval Crystal Rhinestones with filigree caps and an additional round rhinestone at the center of the filigree top. There's also a large Prong set Chaton that is set so that it looks like it is holding the gold plated wires together that make up this modernist design. The earrings have a round Peridot green chaton at the top and the matching oval faceted peridot at the bottom halfway covered with the gold filigree just like the stones on the brooch. From the 1970's, these pieces are signed Sarah Cov with the copyright symbol, and were featured in the book by Marcia "Sparkles" Brown's book, Signed Beauties of Costume Jewelry, Volume II.
