Vintage SUPER-RARE 1970 (Dated) “Love Is…” Comic Strip Knit Top by Kim Casali

This is an adorable knit top from 1970 (it’s dated) by renowned cartoonist Kim Casali, whose famous “Love Is…” series started out as a collection of love notes to her future husband. (She inspired the “love means never having to say you’re sorry” line.) This cartoon features the hand-holding couple,, their cat, and their dog “jogging together” on a sunny morning. It’s so cute! Plus it’s made of a soft stretchy cotton/poly blend that shows off your figure in a low-key 70s way. White with blue ribbed trim. V-neck. Marked junior size medium, best for small women. From Brandywine of California. Vintage condition, gently used, no rips or stains. Signed by Kim and embellished with sequin details and hearts, of course.
