Vintage SHIRLEY TEMPLE Chalkware Carnival Figurine Statue 4” Gold

Shirley Temple was an actress, singer and diplomat sensation who was Hollywood’s #1 box office draw as child actress 1934-38. Chalkware was made from plaster of Paris then painted, and most popular in the Great Depression through mid-century modern era. It was often a carnival prize, and continue to be sought after by collectors. 4” tall, comes from my 91 yr old moms doll collection. Air bubbles often existed in the making of Chalkware. Some flecking of gold on this statue, no chips or repairs made. Shirley is near curtesy with her fancy dress. Adorable and rare piece. No smoke smells. Stored properly over time.
