Are these full Cotton? Any stretch?
You say they would fit like a 6/8 right? So they run on the bigger side?

@lexierowley yes they are a rigid cotton denim kind of like Levi's shorts I would compare the material too. There's a small amount stretch to form to your body. They definitely run bigger I'm a true size 4 and there big on me unfortunately because I love them. I can measure the waist across if you'd like.
