Vintage Rudesheim am Rhein coffee cup and saucer by Heinrick Germany

Vintage Asbach-Uralt German Rudesheimer Coffee Cup. It is a white and red transferware fluted cup and saucer. The main panel says “Rüdesheim am Rhein anno 1860 die Vaterstadt con Asbach” which translates to “Rüdesheim am Rhein in 1860 the hometown of the Ancient Asbach”. There are also 3 scenes of the town Rüdesheim am Rhein and commemorates the local Asbach Uralt, which was established in 1860. The cup was made to hold the German equivalent to an Irish Coffee, made with a strong black coffee, Asbach Uralt Brandy, and whipped cream. It measures 4 1/4” tall, 2 7/8” wide at the base and has a 3 3/4” diameter opening. Condition is pre-owned but good with no chips or cracks.
