Vintage Royal Worcester Evesham Gold Pattern - 2 1/2 Qt. - Fine Porcelain Round Covered Casserole Dish. A beautifully colored Royal Worcester Covered Casserole Dish decorated with sprigs of various fruits and ears of corn. The dish features gold colored handles with the lid highlighted in gold trim around the edge circumference and a gold knob. It is Made in England and hallmarked on the bottom. It is also stamped 23 / 7 1/2. The Evesham pattern was first introduced in 1961 and is no longer being made. Capacity 2 1/2 Qt. to top. It measures approx. 10" Handle to Handle x 8 1/4" Diameter x 4" H. Overall height with the lid measures approx. 6". Oven to Table - Dishwasher safe. This piece is in overall excellent condition. The one gold handle has some paint loss on the outside edge and the knob on the lid has some scuffing. The exterior bottom has some wear. Please review pictures. A dish that is very pretty yet quite functional and would grace any table setting!
