ooooo. fun. Jewelry Pools of light is a type of jewelry made from undrilled rock crystal orbs. The name comes from the way the crystals refract light to create a glow that resembles drops of water or light. The crystals are often wrapped instead of strung so that the "spark of Chi" (life force) inside doesn't escape. The jewelry originated in the Art Deco era (1920s–1930s) and was part of the Chinoiserie craze.
