Vintage Rena Rowan Leather Jacket ~sz 10

Vintage Rena Rowan Leather Jacket. Size 10. Zipper front with branded toggle, 2 side pockets, fully lined. Very soft and supple leather. The color was hard to capture, it is a cross between a celery green and tan. Lining is very clean, a couple marks and scuffs on sleeve (see pics as part of describtion). Overall this jacket is in very good vintage condition. Smoke free. A few history points about designer Rena Rowan... she was born in Lida, Poland in 1928. She was exiled to Siberia with her mother and sister during World War II, a refugee at the age of 12 yrs old before coming to the US in 1945. She studied in Philadelphia at the Museum School of Art. Over time she became a success as one of the top fashion designers in the industry. She worked for top designers Jones NY and Christian Dior before moving on to other ventures and ultimately designing her own line. She was married to famous big band/pop singer, Vic Damone at the time of her death in 2016, he passed away in 2018.
