Vintage Red and White Striped Nautical Dress with Optional Straps

Vintage Red and White Striped Nautical Cotton Sundress. 1980s does 1950s. Laces up the front. Probably meant to be strapless. White straps are not original and could be removed or adjusted—there is extra length. Contains boning in the front to support the strapless bust. Zip back. Self belt included. Due to the smocked elastic back and the front gusset, this could fit a range of bust sizes, from about 34” to maybe even 40”. When the front laces are tied tightly, it measures 17” pit to pit unstretched. With the laces loosely tied, it measures 18” pit to pit unstretched. Stretches to 20”. Waist measures 17” flat unstretched, 17.5” stretched. The waist tie can cinch it smaller if needed. Bodice is 10.5” long, and skirt is 24.5” long.
