Vintage Rare Japanese Hand-Embroidered Artwork, Bamboo, Tiki | PRICE FIRM

Beautiful and rare Japanese vintage hand-embroidered vermillion bamboo wall piece complete with Hanko. Fabric (cotton?) base and yarn embroidery in vibrant fiery sunset red and orange hues. Professionally framed in lacquered wood with double matte inlay in dark brown and red. Frame is a dark brown bevel design with faux metal silver-tone framing along the front. I want to say this could be as old as the 1950’s MCM through the 1970’s. Does show some signs of wear and damage on the frame. Paper backing has been completely removed. Can be easily reframed if desired but can also hang as is and it’ll still look great. Perfect for tiki themed bar, room decor.. Chunk of the frame missing on the bottom but not visible when hung and not affecting the artwork overall.
