Vintage Ralph de Rosa Patented Fur Clip

This, strictly speaking, is not a signed de Rosa piece. It is signed with the patent number he was granted for the articulating wing fur clip. The story goes, he manufactured a number of these clips using the patent number as the hallmark. The patent papers can be found online. This is a fine piece of Art Deco costume jewelry, but it is not fine jewelry. This is base metal with paste rhinestones; clear and green.
