Vintage Queen Down Comforter in Pink Beautiful queen size down comforter with pink satin on one side and pink and pink floral cotton. Back in the 1930’s my great grandparents had a ranch in Idaho. Flocks of geese resided down by the river. When they shot a goose for dinner, they kept the down for quilts. A quilt was given to each of their children. When my grandmother moved to California in the 1940’s she brought her quilt. It was too heavy for the warm climate so she had the down split into two quilts made by the Russell Quilt Company from South Gate, CA. The pink quilt was given to my mother. It was only used for “special” company and kept in the cedar chest. Measurement: 65” x 80”x 4” The quilt is in excellent condition.
