Vintage Putumayo Kimono-Inspired Top

I love this Asian-Inspired Vintage top by Putumayo, a now-defunct clothing brand (they branched into music). From 1975, they made garments that “original” hippies wore, decades before the massive current boho revival. I’ve had it for a long while but I just don’t reach for it anymore. It was purchased in a boutique in Sante Fe many moons 🌒 🌓 🌙 ago. Made in India of 100% Rayon, the print is a very striking in a fiery Orange-Red, Green & Gold Chrysanthemum pattern on Black. The cuffs and low V-neckline are trimmed in black, and the empire waist is a wide band of black as well. There is a slender black cord to tie around your waist to fit your form, either in front (or in back, as shown) and has 3/4 angled sleeves. Measures 19” underarm to underarm & 25” long. Just Gorgeous!
