This Vintage Progress Pocket Watch 1903-05 (serial # 11236920) with Roman Numerals and a second dial for the Seconds. This is a Mechanically winding watch.. that works and keeps time. Windsor Full Hunter Casing #717444..with Beautiful etching on both sides...due to age it does show a bit of wear. Please see all picture.. Remember this watch is truly vintage..it is over 100yrs old

jubachuva how do you know the date on this watch? When or where or who it was made by? or is there no way to know?

heathersworld @jubachuva... I am an avid collector of antiques and vintage Pocket Watches. The Watch Maker is usually on the face of the watch itself.. yet should it not be than it is etched in the back along side the serial number, Which is on the side with the mechanics. In this watches case it was made between 1903-1905. The numbers themselves indicate the year.

heathersworld Not all watches are cased in the same brand case as the watch itself.. this is found usually on the inside of the case. And in some cases it will give you a serial number as well. I being a collector also have a listing of serial numbers and codings.
