Vintage Portable Bankers Lamp with Halogen lightin

This lamp was designed by Robert Sonneman in 1980. It is classified as Mid-century modern It is a very sturdy beautiful lamp in perfect condition if not for the slightest indentation on the upper part of the right brass post. It can be used to light up your desk when you work late at night or as a reading lamp on a nightstand. Either way, its design is very appealing and it can just stand there and be pretty! I just saw the same lamp on 1st Dibs being listed for $1,250. I checked and double checked. They look exactly the same.
