Vintage Porsgrund Norway Olympic Plate

From Porsgrund Norway, Olympic memorabilia plate commemorating the 1994 Olympic games in Lillehammer. It is approx 8" in diameter, and is in excellent condition for the age - no chips, hairlines or crazing noted. The crisp blue & white colors, and the image of this tiny indigenous (perhaps Inuit or Japanese?) child, all bundled up with gear and skis, spoke to me. Perhaps he, or she, is heading out for training beginning the pursuit of their own Olympic dream, or just to a venue to watch the games...who knows? but it's a wonderful image to add to a collection, or for a child's plate. You'll need a plate hanger, as there are no holes in the piece for that purpose. All fragile items will arrive professionally packed, in a carton large enough to satisfy carrier requirements when assessing damage claims. Each stage of packaging is digitally recorded.
