This is a plaid dress I bought at a vintage clothing store in Tacoma Park, MD. Based on its union-made tag it is likely from the years 1964-1973. It is a thick wool-like material. It’s a bit short, but looks cute with tights!

idreamofsixties One more question, what colored tights are you wearing? Because i have burgundy tights that would go good with this dress. Also, does it have a brand/tag? @hollympetersen

hollympetersen @2001clothes the tights I’m wearing are a sort of burnt orange color, and I’d usually wear it with white booties, although it would look good with tan or brown shoes as well. There are no tags identifying a brand or anything, although there is one that says it’s certified union-made or something. I’ll take a picture of that tag tonight. Pretty sure the dress is from the 60s or so, I got it at a vintage clothing store where everything was sorted by decade.

hollympetersen @2001clothes I found some more info on these labels online, and found that you can use them to date clothing. The union tag my dress has is from the period 1964-1973 (just in case you’re curious 😊)
