Vintage Pirate Chest Cookie Jar

Vintage pirate chest cookie jar This truly is a special piece that would be a perfect addition to any cookie, biscuit or cracker jar collection It features a grand display of coins and jewelry spilling from an open pirate chest The details are enchanting, right down to the wood grain detailing on the sides of the chest It has since lost its foil sticker, but I believe this mid century piece was made in Japan for the Fred Roberts Co. of San Francisco This is a large sized jar measuring approx 7” tall x 7” x 5” Limited bundling, due to size and to ensure careful packaging Very nice vintage condition with age-appropriate shelf wear, no cracks or repairs There is a small glaze skip on the bottom front corner (photo 10) and a tiny, barely noticeable chip on the inside rim of the lid (photo 11) Please see my other listings for unique and hard-to-find vintage cookie and biscuit jars I’ve been a biscuit and cookie jar collector for years and it’s time to share my treasures with others who will love them, too Please see all photos as part of the description
