Commemorative Plate, "The Great American Revolution” Canton, Ohio, 1975 This vintage pewter plate depicts the famous painting by John Trumbull “The Declaration Of Independence" depicting the presentation of the draft of the Declaration of Independence to Congress Back hallmarks of the manufacturer, a vintage cannon, Canton, Ohio. There is also a tree impressed in the metal (the classic 18th century tree of liberty). Center tile 6” D is glazed hand painted transferware signed "Declaration of Independence John Trumbull” A tribute to the Americana heritage Gorgeous! Heavy! The detail is fabulous and the color is beautiful!
