Approximate measurements Height: 13.5cm width: 20cm Dept: 13cm This unique Musical Box based on Henry VIII's Gate at Windsor Castle has been created by Pauline Ralph, the first in her Connoisseur's Collection of outstanding British historic buildings. To capture the effect of stonework, weathered over the centuries, a carefully moulded surface, hand painted in subtle browns and ochres, has been applied to the wood. Floral decoration, painstakingly added colour by colour, give a cheerful rococo flavour to the otherwise rather sombre gateway.
