Morning! This is a really nice late 50's pocketbook. Please not that the brand is "Garay" that was a USA manufacture of handbag, shoulder bags, etc... As to the material used to make the body of the handbag, unless there is a tag or stamped marking denoting patent leather, it's not. Given how smooth and reflective the material is and the lack of normal aging that should be seen at the stitch line (drawing up, i.e., puckering) and no wavering in the patent, it's made of patent vinyl which is
