Vintage Pair Reverse Silhouette Painting Romantic Couple With Bird Bubble Glass

Pair of vintage reverse-painted silhouette paintings on convex “bubble” glass. The scenes depict a Victorian couple walking outdoors and admiring a bird. Metal frames with original cardboard backing. I believe these pictures date from the 1940s. Condition is used. There is some discoloration and patina on the metal frames. No cracks on the glass. The cardboard backings have some soiling, staining and creasing. Each picture measures approximately 4 x 5 inches (including frame).
