This sale is for a very nice pair of vintage chromo lithographs reproduction. Interdite from a really, really old French fashion magazine called La Mode. The magazine was full of fashion news and what now is fashion history as well as cultural history. Parisian fashion plates. These two 18.5 inch by 14.5 inch illustration reproduction prints are on a piece of foam core and still in seal packing. The title below the woman in picture says La Mode Ilustree, Bureaux du Journal 56 Rue Jacob Paris mode. Illustrate 1862. number 222. Same on the other print. Only number 223. The two sealed prints are free of any damage. Only an impression in the foam on the back of number 222. See picture pointing at it. Otherwise, excellent condition. Ready to put in frame and display.
