Absolutely Stunning Pair of Hand Carved Solid Genuine Green Jade Dragon Bookends. These Green Jade Dragon Bookend carvings are an exceptional testament to the beauty of nature and the artistry of sculptural craftsmanship. Each carved bookend, crafted from vibrant green jade, features a dragon with mouth open and eyes focused forward. The detailed carved bookends not only highlight the natural beauty of the jade but also add a dynamic, almost mesmerizing, quality to the dragon display. Each bookend measures approximately 10" tall x 3.25" wide x 1.5" deep. Each piece weighs approximately 4 pounds. The bottoms of each piece are covered with a felt-like material to protect the furniture where this pair may be placed. Both bookends show some wear with various small nicks and chips. One bookend shows signs of repair being done on two horns at the top of the dragon's head (see close-up photos). This repair is only seen from very close vicinity, so the overall beauty is not disturbed unless being viewed from close up. The functionality of both bookends is at 100%.
