Vintage Painting Floral Still Life Gold Leaf Paint Framed Original Abstract MCM This painting is very cool in person, I don’t think the photos do it justice. It looks to be a very old painting. I’m marking it as vintage but it’s possibly antique. The canvas has a brownish tint to the backside which normally indicates older & is adhered to the stretcher bars with nails instead of staples. I did add brackets to keep it adhered to the frame better. So there is some wear & tear to the painting & frame but overall, but still beautiful hanging on your wall. It’s beautiful especially with the vintage charm. The background looks to be painting in liquid gold leaf, & subject is a simple abstracted still life of flowers in a vase. I’m not sure who the artist is as I don’t see any signature.
