Vintage PETIT Black Shift Dress

I adore this dress - found it in a vintage store in Milan, but unfortunately it is too short for me. The slit is 7”, which does not work for my 5’5 body. The darts in the chest are also a little high for me. Lightweight enough for a summer evening, nice enough to dress up with a blazer, forgiving enough to layer in the winter. Fabric content - 97% cotton, 3% elastomer Waist 31”, length 35”, would definitely fit someone down to a 26/27” waist, but not above a 31 (my current measurement).
