Vintage Original Oil on Board Three Circus Clowns Portrait Painting by Simon Rare vintage oil painting signed Simon of 3 clowns 2 of them in the background. I've tried to find information on this artist and couldn't find anything other than rumors that it was a famous person who wanted to remain secretive. Seems most of these paintings originate from the PNW. Looking at the back of the canvas I'm guessing it's from around the 30s maybe 50s. Painted in oils, the canvas looks to have been stretched in the past, it could use another stretch in the coming years but it's holding up considering it's age.
