Vintage OldsMobile No 1 Sales Dealer Plaque Award GM Issued Award

Here is part 3 of our closed dealer finds!!! Up for grabs is this 1984 Oldsmobile Dealership Award for selling the most Oldsmobile in NY. This came from an Oldsmobile Dealership in Tarrytown NY and was proudly displayed until the dealership and Oldsmobile went out of business in 2004. The plaque shows the united states with number 1 zone and the word Oldsmobile written on it, and it about the dealer selling 80,974 new cars, among other things. I remember seeing these plaques proudly displayed in the showroom. This award/plaque was issued by General Motors Company, Inc. This plaque is in good condition for its age. It is wood base with a gold plaque on top. It has even has a large Oldsmobile lettering in the center of the award. The wood in the front is in excellent condition, but the back has a slight water mark from being wet at one time. The plaque itself is in great condition for its age, but there are a few light surface dust scratches other than that all theme writing and graphic artwotk is intact.
