Vintage Old England Chevrolet Corvette Swiss made "steering wheel" watch. Watch features a silver-tone case in the shape of a steering wheel with offset crown and Tropic rally strap. The dial has luminous hands and features an early Corvette logo (1953 - 1955) and is marked "Swiss Made" at the bottom edge. The crystal has the name "Old England" at the bottom. The case back is marked, "Swiss Made, Base Metal Bezel, Stainless Steel Back." Watch has a Swiss one jewel manual wind movement. The watch case measures approx. 39.2mm across, and the watch with Tropic strap measures approx. 9" (maximum wrist size of approx. 7"). Watch is in good vintage condition with some imperfections in the plastic crystal (no cracks) and light scuffs / scratches to the case. The Tropic rally strap is in good condition. Watch keeps time when wound although it often takes a few shakes of the case for it to start up after winding.
