Vintage - Ocean Pacific (OP) Snowboarding T-Shirt - Circa 1989

This is short sleeve shirt is WAY before its time. Although OP made this shirt in 1989, Aspen did NOT allow snowboarding on its slopes until winter of 2001. Crazy. The only event aspen had in 1989 was the World Pro SKI challenge. So I'm still trying to figure out where the design came from and what the history of this shirt is. FYI- The Covershot picture to the left is actually the BACK of the T-shirt. I wanted to give the attention to the inaccurate 1989 aspen Pro championship print. It blows me away that OP was promoting Snowboarding in Aspen over 10 years before it was even legal. The FRONT of the shirt is in the basic pocket position "Ocean Pacific Snowboarding" logo. SIZE - Tag labels this as a Large. But after all these years and washing it wares more like a medium. 20" pit to pit and a 24" collar to hem. This is a nice muted Pink T-shirt. The Shirt is in good condition and print only has a minor blemish on the back near the middle where a pick line runs from middle of word Board down to the P in Pro. fairly unnoticeable in passing. Otherwise no holes or blemishes. Cool 80's shirt with a cool story. Fairly priced but i will always consider reasonable offers. thanks! ~Z
