Would love to see this modeled! Is it close in color with the lace robe?

As soon as I get back I will try to find a model for you. This is true to color as you see it. It reminds me of a gossamer dipped tea fabric, sometimes known as the "smoke" or "tea" stained effect. The robe is more of an ivory with a hint of pink. This gown is beautiful and so femme I would keep them all myself, but unfortunately my Nanna was a very petite.

These slips are pieces of art, really. You'd be much better off getting them on Etsy where people would be more appreciative of how amazing they are. You could probably get $300 for them on there.

@missalexisb Thanks for the advice- I agree- these were around $400 years ago as they are all custom and handmade.

So so so beautiful. 😍😍😍😍. You said that they were custom-made for your Nana., about how tall and what size was she when this was made for her? Sizing used to be measured so differently back then that I guess we should probably just go with the measurements of someone you can find to wear it today...

Is the model in the picture modeling this actual piece? If so, how tall and what size and bust are they? :-) :-)

@natalieharries Hello, I'm so glad that you love these gowns- they are simply beautiful. So height is not an issue for these items- I've had two models wear them for a shoot I did. One was 5' 5 and the other 5'11. Bust size is where I would be most concerned though the back is slightly adjustable as it ties. Bust size would fit 34b or 32c. I would keep these for myself, but I am a bustier :(
