Vintage Navajo Style Wool Rug

Beautiful vintage Navajo style rug in good used condition. This piece is just passing through my house and I acquired it from a family who said it was purchased in Arizona in the 70s. It had been tacked to a wall canvas and hung for many year, so this piece has not seen foot traffic and considering the age, is in great condition. The colors on this weaving are very vibrant and beautiful. Some possible fading around edges, but I don’t see anything major to note. This feels like 100% dyed wool yarn to me, but I have not confirmed that with a burn test. The rug is tightly woven and fairly thin. Would be beautiful as a small rug or hung. A few small imperfections in the coloring and weaving throughout, most of which seem to be inherent to the piece. On the back side there are two black circles drawn. Size approximately 39x18”.
