Vintage Native American PILLOW BEADS Sterling Silver Graduated Concho Necklace

Absolutely gorgeous...This vintage Navajo necklace is handmade of 925 sterling silver concho pillows or saucer beads. They graduate up the chain to a length of 20 inches. Center pillow measures 1 13/16” length x 1 1/8” across. Other beads 1 1/2” x 1” and continues to graduate to smaller circle pillows to the end. Each bead is hand stamped with a Native American design while the 22 smaller circular beads remain plain. On the other side, each pillow bead is plain. Can be worn on that side. The beads are strung on sterling silver chain. Each bead is perfectly sealed around their disk shaped edges. The necklace is marked at the secure lobster clasp...925 and signed Q.T. This necklace is an early piece...circa 1980. Highly collectible for its beauty, simplicity and exceptional hand crafting. There are 29 concho pillow beads and two cone beads at the clasp. The necklace weighs 39 grams. It's in excellent vintage condition. Has a beautiful patina which can be polished more if you prefer.
