Vintage Nakens Silverware Flatware Chest w/ Drawer Wood Tarnish Proof Lined Box Lovely example of rich, warm, finely grained walnut wood. Extremely high-quality materials and construction It measures about 17 3/4" x 11 1/2" x 6" The tarnish-proof lining should do a beautiful job protecting your fine silver. Lovely vintage condition; obviously very well-cared for. Minimal surface/use wear. Not too many scratches considering its age. The only cosmetic issue is that on the gold plate which is not monogrammed, someone obviously polished a bit too hard or too much and rubbed away some of the coating on the brass metal. That is what the light spot is. It is not a light reflection. It is actually from a bit too much rubbing. On the whole though, this excellently-crafted walnut chest presents beautifully.
