Vintage 1940s - 50s NATCO Spice Tins, National Tea Company, Grocery Store Chain, Chicago, Retro Kitchen Decor
Chicago-based grocer, National Tea Company got its start in the late 1800s, and by the 1920s it had grown to over 1500 stores, nationwide.
Their store brand spices were labeled NATCO.
This pair of tins display as nicely from the sides, as they do from their patriotic fronts, featuring silver, red and navy blue. The sides are white with the spice name in bold print, so it's readily identifiable when searching in a cabinet.
Both containers still have some product remaining.
Please see all photos, as they are considered part of the description.
