Vintage Monmouth Cookie Jar

Vintage 1940’s Western Monmouth Pottery cookie jar. Monmouth Pottery began operations in 1894 and was located in Monmouth, Illinois. They mostly produced useful household items such as butter churns, crocks and jars. The company grew and expanded its line of wares into a consortium with six other midwestern companies known as Western Stoneware. This vintage cookie jar features an artistic Native American raised relief pattern with a gingerbread brown color and a high gloss finish. Measures 5” high and 5 ½” in diameter. This vintage lidded cookie jar is in excellent condition. Condition listed as good due to the stunning age of this piece and it being no where near new.
