Here's the story, as much as I remember. I have a friend who worked in the fur trade in NYC in the early 1990's at Almiro Fur Fashion Design, Ltd. After he left that firm he worked freelance with a Greek designer, Konstantinos Dimitrios Vlachakis of Kastoria Greece. My friend bought the jackets (and other items) from Costa and wholesaled to retailers. The retailers put labels in. Hence no label—just the back story from my friend. When all of his women friends saw the jacket and wanted it, he sold it to us. If I wore it once it was a lot. It was all about owning it—and the 90s!!! Dark blue Denim. Impeccably made.
