Vintage Mid-Century Couroc of Monterey Coin Tree of Life 18" Serving Tray

Mid-Century inlaid resin tray by Couroc of Monterey, California. The "Coin Tree" design is a tree of inlaid brass with leaves made of inlaid crushed green stone and antique international coins from India, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, South Africa and other countries. "The Couroc Company was founded in 1948 in Monterey, CA, produced black resin trays and glassware made by skilled artisans. The resin is impervious to alcohol and flames. These trays were very popular and sold in high-end department. Note: hairline crack in middle causing gold to lift up in a few places however, it’s still is sturdy and in tact and ready for use or display. Coins are also secure.
