Vintage MidBrooke New York Coat Wonderful Vintage Women's Overcoat Size and composition tag are non existing as with most vintage pieces Store tag reads Logans, Lancaster PA (1950's era) Manufacturer Tag is Midbrooke New York Estimating this to be a taylored modern day size Small (see measurements next section) **Please check your measurements to be sure. Returns not accepted Believe this to be a wool tweed blend, full lined, quite heavy, with fur collar that has been stitched fast (unsure if fur is faux or real - possibly real) 4 button closure and 2 adjustable neck snaps, 2 side pockets High quality garment of yesteryear About History: ILGWU Label Entact The International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union (ILGWU) was one of the largest labor unions in the United States in the 1900s. It represented hundreds of thousands of clothing industry workers, most of them women. Two successful strikes in 1909 and 1910 won power for the union. One of the first representing female empowerment! APPROX MEASUREMENTS LYING FLAT ACROSS FRONT - 17" pit to pit, 36" length shoulder to hem, waist is 15.5" with 22" sleeves Has custom initials sewn on the inside Has a tack stitch on the back, but no damage I can see (unsure why this is here) and the ONLY callout I can see is that a few of the button holes could use a re-tack Overall Excellent Condition!!! Fur is excellent condition. I found no pilling, shedding, bald or worn spots. INSIDE LINING IS GREAT. No mothball or "odd" smells imo
