Vintage Mid Century Thermoset Necklace silver tone necklace - 1950s Era What is Thermoset? Thermoset and Lucite jewelry is a formed plastic that was used by many jewelry companies from 1940 - 1960 The necklace is in good condition for its age. There is some discoloration on the silver chain and some yellow stains on the back of the necklace which I think is a glue residue. I didn’t not try to clean it off. The necklace measures approximately 16" inches length. There are no makers marks, but the jewelry reminds me of jewelry made by Coro or Lisner.
