Vintage Mexico 'Diablo' devil mask. - Carnival and Diablada (Dance of Devils) festivals are among the most widely recognized celebrations in Latin America. The masks are also used in various dances and representations during Christmastime and many use serpents and lizards as allusions to elements of pre-Hispanic Gods. Devil masks are mainly found in the Mexican states of Guerrero, Michoacan and Colima. - Colorful hand painted wood with real ram's horns mounted on top. - Hook on back ready for hanging on a wall for display. - Good overall condition.
