Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Filigree Pendant with Carnelian Stone • NOTE: the white on the stone is the glare of the light in the room when taking pics. This is a Vintage Mexican Filigree Necklace Pendant without a chain. The Carnelian stone is set in a sterling silver bezel surrounded by a twisted rope, swirls and drops, an intricate design. • Pendant: 1 3/4 inches long X 1 1/4 inches wide • Carnelian Stone: 11/16 inches X 1/2 inch wide • Weight: 8.40 grams • Not marked, but has been tested for silver • Circa: 1980’s or before Some tarnish is present, commensurate with age. My cleaning process is simply using warm water and liquid dish soap to disinfect. At times, a silver jewelry polishing cloth is used to remove excessive tarnish in order to see any markings.
